Established over 20 years ago, this company is an Australian owned and specializing in designing, fabricating and installing cabinetry and joinery of the highest standard. We are currently looking for an experienced cabinet designer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design works for various commercial projects
• Working closely with Project Managers and Clients.
• Planning and designing in AutoCAD
• Prepare the design for industrial fabrication
• Prepare and "nest" the design for the CNC operation
• Assist in the management of design project management
• Accompany the lead designer to meetings and briefs.
• Have an understanding of CNC operations
• Prepare designs and specifications of products for mass or batch production.

 The successful applicant will have:

• Minimum 5 years experience in Planit - Cabinet Vision software
• Knowledge of Joinery construction methods and materials
• Experience preparing CNC cutting lists
• Must be able to interpret architectural drawings to produce details precise working drawings
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong focus on high-quality work
• Strong initiative and be able to work well within a team
