Overview of the role:

I am looking for a motivated, creative Powerpoint graphic designer to join my team at Visual Impact Presentations on a freelance basis. Your portfolio should be clean professional, sleek, modern design. Skillsets to demonstrate are clean layout skills, eye for detail, polished execution, and typography.

We create high quality presentation designs, you will be working remotely most of the time, high self-time-management skills is essential to meet deadlines. Very good communication skills is vital, ability to understand a brief, self manage the project, and work through to delivery. Ability to follow instructions carefully and take initiative and pride in work.

Type of work:

-Primary projects will be Powerpoint presentations. Good Powerpoint skills is essential, and a high creative eye with good knowledge of design principles to create dynamic fresh designs.

-Secondary projects include branding (logo, social media, brochures, business cards, flyers, etc)

Timing:

To start immediately. Freelance position, with a full time project approx Aug-Sep.

Responsibilities:

• Creating fully functional Powerpoint templates with knowledge of utilising master slide setup. And creating presentations using templates following strict branding guidelines.
• Execute projects from brief to delivery including finish art for collateral such as brochures, flyers, logos, advertisements, merchandise, website concepts, posters, signage and other promotional collateral
• Communicate effectively, responsively, especially through email
• High self time management skills. You must be able to manage your own time to meet deadlines.

Skills required

• Minimum 3 year working graphic design experience
• High level proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and ability to prepare images and documents for print and digital output
• The ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and work well in a high pressure environment
• The ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
• A tertiary qualification in visual communications, graphic design or similar
• An understanding of brand management
• Excellent layout skills
• Exceptional organisational skills and file management
• Excellent attention to detail and a drive for quality
• Good business acumen
• PowerPoint design ability is essential
