Senior Industrial Designer

One of the global design agencies is now looking for a Senior Industrial Designer to work in their gorgeous Melbourne offices. This role would fit in someone who has the expertise to work with the Design & Innovation Director.

Role is as below :

Objective
• The Industrial Designer is to provide design and documentation services to projects tomeet project briefs.
• The Industrial Designer will contribute to planning, managing and producing concept,
form design, technical and fabrication documentation of a diverse range of projects.
Typically, this can range from bespoke architectural installations to signage / wayfinding
programs and nation-wide rebranding programs for corporate clients.

Essential
• Sign Industry fabrication, construction and material knowledge.
• Design and consulting experience covering the whole of the design and documentation
process
• Experience with a variety of manufacturing processes and preparation of production files
to allow manufacturer shop drawing production.
• Ability and experience in dealing with clients

Professional Experience
• The Industrial Designer should have at least 5 years + experience relevant Design work,
including, knowledge of the sign industry or similar industry an understanding of the
types of material used, construction methods and installation requirements.
• A high-level of computer literacy is required in Solidworks, Autocad, Creative Suite
(specifically Illustrator and Indesign).
