This is a 3 - 6 month contract for a Digital / UI Designer with minimum 1 year industry experience.

My client is one of Australia’s largest online retailers. They are located in the inner suburbs Melbourne.

Description

This is a fantastic 3 - 6 month contract with the potential to lead onto further work for a leading Australian Retailer who is a common household name.

• The initial function of this role will be to create templates for websites (desktop and mobile)

• Contribution to a current app design may be a part of this role

• Create pixel perfect-development ready final artwork from a range of screens and devices

Profile

This Digital / UI Designer role requires at least 1 year experience in a Graphic/Digital/ UI design role and full Australian working rights. A Graphic Designer with experience and a vested interest in UI would also be suitable for this role. Skills, experience and qualifications required for this role include:

• Excellent Graphic Design and UI portfolio examples

• Good problem-solving ability and excellent attention to detail

• Skills in prototyping with either low or high fidelity

• A fantastic eye for creativity and design - detail oriented work in UI

• Understanding of UX practices

• Skills in wireframing and rapid prototyping tool (ie: InVistion, Usertesting.com, etc.) will be highly considered

• Retail and eCommerce experience will be highly considered

Job Offer

This is a fantastic Digital / UI Designer opportunity to join a leading Australian retailer and contribute towards their creative and design image. This opportunity pays $150 - $200 per day (depending on experience level).
