Perth based company Ledger Assets specialises in global verification digital technology utilizing Blockchain technologies and is the software provider for many successful companies who have also included and incorporated blockchain technology into their work.

We are looking to hire a skilled UI/UX Designer who focuses on designing and providing appealing and functional platforms. We want someone who is absolutely in love with what they do and shows creativity/thinking outside of the box. Someone who doesn’t think of coming into the office as ‘going to work’ but going to a place where they can be themselves and be surrounded by their passion.  A person who thinks out of the box and approaches issues in a unique way. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing a modern platform. This is a three month turn around project with the option to continue, so you will need to be an autonomous worker who can hit the ground running.

To be considered for this exciting opportunity you must:

• Submit a portfolio of your work, can be a website or previous work you have done;
• Also submit a prototype or platform of your work, we are looking for creative thinkers, who can offer futuristic, modern, outside of the box designs and ideas;
• Be able to give creative options in the design of the platform for to the team to review; and
• Be able to meet delivery of deadlines working largely autonomously, for a short three month timeframe.

You should possess the following skills/experience necessary for the position:

• 3+ years’ experience developing web applications;
• Be proficient in modern web technologies & Frameworks (ES6, CSS3, React/Redux,Angular or similar current framework);
• Experience in Visual Design and UX;
• Capable of designing a system;A desire and willingness to learn;
• Ability to work autonomously with little direction and part of a team; and
• Comfortable working as part of a team in a fast paced environment.

Desirable:

• General interest and knowledge about blockchain/disruptive systems;
• Create, build and test wireframes and UX designs / flows;
• Review competitors' platforms and understand what is common, and how we can do things better;
• Have the ability to translate your wireframes into amazing visual designs in Sketch, Adobe Photoshop, or other design tools;
• Experience with programming JavaScript preferred with role focused on React/Redux or Angular based development;
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies: JavaScript, HTML5, SASS; and
• Strong programming skills with focus on clean design, well refactored code and automated testing.
