Salary - $1,720.40 - $1,971.10 pw + super + leaseback vehicle

Building Capacity to Deliver - Servicing Community Needs

We are seeking an experienced Heritage Planner to provide specialist heritage planning advice. This position is a great opportunity to work alongside a highly successful and talented strategic planning team in a great new modern environment.

Essential

• Tertiary qualification and extensive experience in one or more of the following fields of expertise: town planning, urban design, architecture, heritage conservation, building or other related to the position.
• Demonstrated understanding of, and experience in heritage conservation and the role of heritage with regards to Strategic Planning processes.
• Experience in managing complex projects to achieve goals and meet deadlines in a consultative manner.
• Proven ability to deliver complex outcomes in a politically sensitive environment.
• High level of written and oral communication skills.
• Strong focus on and commitment to quality customer service.
• Demonstrated ability to apply EEO, WHS and ethical practice principles and to act with probity at all times.
• Proficiency with Microsoft office computer applications.

Desirable

• Demonstrated understanding and experience in the Development Assessment process.
• Proven ability to broker balanced outcomes.
