Building Capacity to Deliver - Servicing Community Needs

Great opportunity to lead a project delivery team undertaking the accelerated review of the Camden LEP 2010 and managing the development of associated technical studies. This position is a great opportunity to work alongside a highly successful and talented strategic planning team in a great new modern environment.

Essential

  • Tertiary qualifications in Town Planning project management or related discipline and extensive job related experience.
  • A sound working knowledge of, and experience in, the implementation of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979, the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2000, the NSW Local Government Act 1993.
  • Experience in a supervisory role with demonstrated skills in providing effective leadership, mentoring and motivation of staff.
  • Experience in managing and delivering complex projects to achieve goals and meet deadlines.
  • Proven ability to deliver complex outcomes in a politically sensitive environment.
  • Demonstrated high level of written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated high level of negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong focus on and commitment to quality customer service both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply EEO, WHS and ethical practice principles and to act with probity at all times.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office computer applications.

Desirable

  • Demonstrated skills in project management
