Salary - $1,531.00 – 1,754.80 pw + super

Building Capacity to Deliver - Servicing Community Needs

Great opportunity to work in a project team to undertake the accelerated review of the Camden LEP 2010 and associated technical studies. This position is a great opportunity to work alongside a highly successful and talented strategic planning team in a great new modern environment.

Essential

• Qualifications in Town Planning, or related discipline or currently studying and/ or related job experience;
• Knowledge of wider NSW Planning Framework and associated legislation;
• Knowledge and understanding of the Strategic Landuse Planning Framework applicable to the Camden LGA
• Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to team projects;
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and short timeframes;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Strong focus on and commitment to quality customer service
• Demonstrated ability to apply EEO, WHS and ethical practice principles and to act with probity at all time

Desirable

• Demonstrated understanding of Microsoft office computer applications and Geographical Information Systems (GIS).
