This large retailer is renowned for specialising in the food and beverage industry and other fast moving consumer goods. With over 3000 stores nationally and growing they require a Retail Design Manager to assist with a portfolio of these stores across NSW. 

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Managing the design process from pre planning through to construction
• Designing, maintaining & reviewing the design brief
• Assessing and managing risk
• Site investigation and preparation & presentation of conceptual plans 
• Statutory compliance
• Supervising Consultants, Architects, Developers, etc
• Managing stakeholders
• Review with the Project Manager and Cost Planner the costs of each stage of the project
• Provide guidance on design issues, value management and project specifications
• Advise on all design matters

To be considered for this role you will have:

• Competence using AutoCAD
• Relevant tertiary qualifications - Architecture/Interior Design
• Experience in Retail Store design and refrurbishments 
• Strong understanding of building regulations and standards 
• Good presentation skills
