Gym and Fitness are on the hunt for a digital designer to assist a rapidly growing ecommerce company develop and maintain design consistency across the company and its in-house brands. The role presents a unique opportunity to craft the look and feel of a brand in an industry that rewards creativity, humour and aesthetically clean design.

The Role

Undergoing rapid growth, Gym and Fitness is looking for a savvy design first mind with front end development skills to take charge of the brands look and feel and execute across a range of digital assets. This role will be part time, working approximately 3 days per week from our Head Office in Prospect South Australia. Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Development and maintenance of brand consistency for Gym and Fitness (GAF) across all customer facing channels

• Assist with creative direction and messaging for marketing campaigns across GAF and GAF brands

• Design/build website landing pages

• Implementation of front end tweaks and changes across GAF websites

• Design/build eDM Campaigns (Mailchimp)

• Design/create assets for social media (short videos, promo imagery)

• Assist with ad copywriting across various promotional platforms

• Edit/post production of product promotion videos

• Image and photography retouching for new products

• Work closely with content, marketing and sales to develop and create digital content concepts that are consistent with brief and brand requirements
   

Essential Skills

• 2-3 years experience in graphic and or front end design

• Excellent copywriting and communication skills

• Front end development skills (Html/CSS/JS)

• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign)

• Video editing experience preferred (bonus points for Final Cut Pro experience)
