Design Drafter - Product Development

My client are a well-known and respected home builder with a national presence. Due to an internal promotion they are looking for a talented design draftsperson to come on board.

As a family owned and run business, they have a focus on training and development. Work-life balance is hugely important to my client, as they know that happy workers are productive workers!

The Role:

Reporting to an experienced Design/Drafting Manager, you will join a tight-knit team of draftys with a mixed skill level. Your product will be extremely varied, with a mix of townhouses and units, and stand-alone housing.

Your role will include:

• Contributing design ideas for standard range homes and facades
• Producing presentation sketches for new designs
• Making changes to standard drawings
• Producing high quality working drawings and documentation

What You Need

• A great attitude, outgoing and friendly personality and enjoyment working as part of a team
• Advanced REVIT skills
• 5+ years experience in residential drafting
• Solid understanding of BCA and Rescode
• Great communication skills
• Innovative and able to implement creative design solutions
