The opportunity
Due to the ongoing growth in our Brisbane office, we are looking for someone to join us and become an integral part of a close-working, high performing Design team.  We are looking for a self-starter, who is a motivated and proactive Landscape Architect seeking an opportunity to be involved in city-shaping projects for a diverse range of private and public sector clients.

The successful candidate will be a part of the Design team focused on the master planning, landscape, design and documentation of significant integrated developments, large landscape architecture and urban design projects. 

About You
To be successful in this role you must have a strong creative design passion and qualifications in Landscape Architecture from an AILA accredited course. You must be able to:

  • Deliver a range of services including site analysis, council approvals processes, illustrative plan production, report production, 3D modelling, landscape design and documentation
  • Provide input into fee proposals, tenders and submissions for potential projects
  • Provide support for the concept, detailed design and contract administration phases
  • Deliver quality hand drawn and computer generated graphic support
  • Prepare graphic and text based components of landscape architecture reports

This role is suited to someone with 1-5 years of experience, who possesses the following competencies:

  • A clear understanding of landscape architecture principles
  • The ability to develop and document landscape architecture principles
  • A working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and SketchUp
  • The ability to complete graphic and text based components of landscape architecture reports
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including preparing visual aids/drawings, report preparation, preparation of meeting notes, correspondence etc
