Architect or Architectural Technician
- Small, busy design studio in Ultimo
- Assist in designing & documenting apartments, houses & industrial projects
We are a small design studio based near central station with an increasing workload. The team currently consists of 5 people including permanent and contract/part-time Architects, Drafters, Interior Designers, etc.
Our projects vary but are primarily individual homes, major alterations and additions, medium and high density residential and industrial projects. We provide integrated design solutions to our clients, including:
- Architecture
- Interior Design and
- Project Management
You will work in a creative space near the Central Park precinct and Broadway. Close to City buses, trains, numerous cafes, shops etc.
Your work day may include:
Your role will be to assist the Directors or Project Architects as required, including:
- The preparation of documentation for Concept Design, Design Development, Development Applications, Tender Documentation and Construction
- Product research for materials, furniture, fittings etc
- Compiling of documentation
- Lodging applications at Council.

Skills & Experience you will need:
A documentation portfolio of premium homes, major alteration and additions, medium density residential and apartment buildings. NOT project homes/volume housing.
- Basic working knowledge of Sydney’s design control legislation.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
- Good working knowledge of Photoshop
- A minimum of 2 years post-grad experience in a leading major design practice, or in a small respected design studio
- Excellent written & spoken English
- The presence & confidence to handle telephone enquiries from diverse high-end clients
- Organisational skills to help meet programme targets
- Current drivers licence
- The salary package offered is commensurate upon your skills & experience. Part-time options will be considered for the right candidate.
