About the Organisation
This Local Council based in the inner suburbs is currently going through a major growth stage and as such has a number of projects underway. 

About the role
Due to an increase in workload, this local government team requires a Landscape Architect to assist them on a long term contract basis. Reporting into the Coordinator, you will have responsibility for the design and delivery of a range of projects within the municipality. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Providing Landscape advice on planning issues
• The design and documentation of streetscapes within the municipality
• Providing landscape and urban design services to internal and external stakeholders including the Design and Construction Coordinator 
• Manage the design and construction of projects including the day to day project management of design and construction projects that contribute to the capital works program, manage contractors engaged in the construction of these and look after tenders and quotes involved in these projects

About you
In order to succeed in this role you will have:
  
• A Bachelor of Landscape Architecture
• Previous experience as a Landscape Architect - preferably within Local Government
• A high level of documentation and CAD skills
• Available to commence work immediately
