With their plans for continued growth and growing pipeline of projects, this company is seeking to grow their leadership team with the addition of an accomplished Senior Design Architect.

ABOUT THE POSITION
As a Senior Design Architect, you will report to the directors and will be responsible for project delivery along with team management.

With your outstanding coordination and management skills, you will lead a small team of architects through the delivery of stages including but not limited to feasibility studies, concept design, design development and construction.

A focus is on pushing the boundaries within the field and using creative thinking regarding new ways to see the market sector.

The Senior Design Architect will be entrepreneurial at heart with the ability to build and bring in business opportunities to the practice. The role will  also take on major aspects of practice management including strategic planning and overseeing administration.

DUTIES

• Produce concept design
• Client briefs and presentations
• Review documentation for construction
• Manage and mentor Junior Architects
• Oversee design development

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Tertiary qualification and registration as an architect
• Software proficiency in ArchiCAD essential
• Portfolio demonstrating relevant project experience
• Excellent leadership and coordination skills
• Innovative approach to design
