We are seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to join our Womenswear team based in our Store Support Office in North Geelong. Later this year we will be moving to a brand new purpose built facility in Williams Landing in Melbourne with flexible support in the interim to work between Geelong and Melbourne hot desk offices.
About our Role
Working in our merchandise team, this role offers the right candidate the opportunity to be part of a design-led retailer and create strong graphic and print direction. A key focus in this role is to design commercially savvy graphics across the exciting category.
Other key responsibilities may include:
- Collaborate with the buyer and designer to deliver commercial print work and yardage prints that appeal to the Target customer
- Work in line with a strict critical path, meeting deadlines in a timely manner
- Understand copyright laws and ensuring that your work is recorded and not in breach of IP
- Hand drawing and painting to create unique prints and yardages
- Lead the Target vision, strategy and values within the team and across the organisation
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in a similar role and have a good commercial eye with a great eye for colour and trend. You will be proficient in the adobe suite and hold qualifications in Graphic Design or similar.
