Your new company
This wide reaching design and project management company focuses on interior office fit out projects all over Australia. With a wealth of expertise and a worldwide network, this practice is a specialist in commercial interiors, corporate design services and building refurbishments across Victoria and Australia wide.
Your new role
Due to continued growth and a number of projects that have recently been given the approval, this practice now seeks an experienced senior Interior Designer to take the lead on a number of corporate projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting with clients, pitching for work, design, space planning, documentation (AutoCAD) and taking the project through completion.
What you'll need to succeed
It is important that you have demonstrated considerable experience in corporate fit out design and being a senior role it is equally important that you are able to be involved in all project stages. The role will require you to work autonomously and therefore you must be a driven individual that can self manage.
Other key skills would include: Excellent communication skills, as you will be liaising with clients, project managers, consultants, engineers as well as your team, knowledge of BCA and Australian standards (local experience essential) and you must be confident in negotiation and client presentations.
What you'll get in return
This position is an immediate opportunity and permanent position. If you are a well experienced designer, who can commit for a 4-6 weeks assignment from the 31st of May, this is for you. You will be rewarded a fair hourly rate.
