A national design studio that specialises in transformative work spaces across architecture and interiors in Australia. Due to an existing team member moving abroad, they are currently seeking a junior – mid level Interior Designer to become part of their vibrant and design passionate team in Melbourne. This role is ideal for a designer looking to find a long-term career home and would suit a confident communicator, team player, and a designer passionate about workplace. Most importantly they should be proud of and take pride in the work they produce!
Key responsibilities
- Building strong relationships - liaising with clients, consultants and suppliers
- Working on all stages of a project you will be involved in all aspects from concept design and development through to documentation and project delivery
- Be a motivated and collaborative team player
- Take pride in the work you produce with care and attention to detail given to all aspects of your role
Skills & experience
- Experience on design led workplace projects is required
- Strong workplace spatial planning skills and data analysis experience is ideally sought
- Exceptional design experience within retail, hospitality or residential sectors may also be considered if workplace is a sector of interest
- Proficient in AutoCAD and with professional Revit experience
- Good skills in Sketchup, Photoshop and InDesign highly regarded
- Interior Design or Interior Architect qualifications
