An exciting and challenging opportunity is offered to a Senior Urban and Regional Planner with an appropriate tertiary qualification, and 3+ years’ experience.
What we do is well known. We provide expert advice in urban and regional planning and development.
This is an exceptional career opportunity where you will supervise and participate in advanced, highly complex professional planning activities. You will manage other capable planners and administrative support staff in the organisation and you will actively seek out new clients and establish new business in the firm.
You will be involved in the diverse range of interesting and challenging projects our range of clients offer, and you will have the opportunity to act on behalf of various clients as an advocate at VCAT and Planning Panels Victoria.
You will receive guidance and mentoring from the Managing Director of the firm, Mr Bill Kusznirczuk.
We expect the successful candidate to be focused on high standards of service, high quality outcomes and achieving professional excellence.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience
- Tertiary qualification in Urban & Regional Planning or equivalent.
- Experience in interpreting legislation and policy, assessing development applications, rezoning and planning proposals.
- Experience managing projects and working to specification and within budget.
- VCAT advocacy experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence, motivation, the ability to work autonomously and to demonstrate initiative
- Current driver's license.
