About us
Cadence & Co is a Design and Construction company specialising in quality residential projects based on the Northern Beaches. Our dedicated design team combines a vast wealth of architectural knowledge with technical expertise to craft buildings of exceptional quality.
Our portfolio is currently filled with a wide range of exciting projects with construction values between $300K - $10m, and as a result we are seeking a Building Designer or Architectural Technician to join our growing design and planning team.
About the role
The role will involve working on exciting residential projects from initial concept sketch through to construction. You will be working closely with the Senior Architectural Designers and Project Managers in a friendly and collaborative environment.
- Being part of the project from initial concept sketch design through to construction
- This is a full-time role and offers an immediate start
- Hit the ground running on existing projects under documentation
- Salary negotiable dependent on experience
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years' local experience desired
- Fluency in Mandarin would be highly regarded
- Proficient in Vectorworks VW2016 and above, in particular 3D presentation modelling and documentation
- Proven experience in residential projects
- Demonstrated capability in conceptual design, construction and tender documentation
- Good knowledge of Australian residential construction standards
- An keen eye for detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Self-motivated with strong organisational skills, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to liaise with consultants
- Strong knowledge of Council controls & regulations
