The successful applicant will be an intrinsic part of our team, be exposed to all areas of the development and production process and join a company that encourages and supports creative thinking and personal growth.
Full time role with immediate start.
Located in Clifton Hill, Melbourne.
To be considered for the role the following skills are required:
• Have at least 2 years employment experience in product development
• Confidently contribute to the design process, through research, forecasting and product development
• Good communication skills especially in dealing with off shore suppliers
• Have an understanding of sampling, production timelines & costings and be able to prioritise these in order to meet deadlines
• Experienced and competent in using Adobe design suite & Excel with high level Illustrator skills. The ability to design repeating textile designs is a bonus
• Have a good understanding of commercial fabrics and the garment construction required to achieve a high level of garment quality that will also meet a required price point
• Good time management skills
• Able to communicate fabric, trim & garment details to off-shore manufacturers
• Strong work ethic & happy to pitch in where needed
• Be able to work autonomously as well as part of a close team
