An opportunity has become available for an experienced Graphic Designer to join the Communications and Councillor Support team at Scenic Rim Regional Council to cover a 6 month leave vacancy.
The successful candidate will be responsible for generating print-based promotional materials which support the marketing, public relations and corporate communications initiatives of the council.
As part of the role, you will be charged with preparing key external publications in addition to developing new print and online solutions which engage community stakeholders.
You will also apply your skills in the multimedia sphere to assist in maintaining Council’s online visibility through its website and social media platforms.
The successful candidate will be required to work independently on multiple projects within a small team environment and collaborate with a range of internal stakeholders.
A client-based focus, results-oriented approach, flexibility, creativity and attention to detail are all musts for this role.
Relevant experience in graphic design and publication layout is required and qualifications in graphic design or a related discipline are desirable.
Remuneration for this position ranges from $62,923 to $67,608 per annum depending on qualifications and experience.
