The Opportunity To Make A Difference..

Our Digital team are searching for a talented Product Owner for the Portal & Engagement squad who will work in conjunction with out Digital Director to define and set the vision and delivery roadmap for projects and work streams relevant to their squad. The primary focus will be delivery on the Supporter Experience & Retention project, but will also include technical management of the portal and infrastructure solutions and upgrades and additional strategic project initiatives that drive user engagement, retention and positive brand sentiment.

 

This is an exciting opportunity to work across a market-leading strategy in digital delivery of the supporter journey, working in collaboration with the Digital lead team at a strategic level. Through delivering in this role, you will have a direct impact on driving incremental revenue by increasing the retention rate, increasing user engagement and strengthening positive brand sentiment.

A day in the life of..

Some of the key accountabilities of this role would include:

  • Working with the digital director to define the product vision, road map and growth and enhancement opportunities for the digital capability squad
  • Drive incremental revenue by increasing retention rate, increased user engagement and positive brand sentiment
  • Working cross functionally with relevant stakeholders; Digital Director, Marketing, Retail & IT, to understand overarching business requirements and how they apply to the squad
  • Consolidation of business requirements into a priority backlog by working with set Business Analyst and scrum squad to ensure work is appropriately sized, valued and planned into iterations
  • Ensure consistent flow of tasks into development pipeline in line with overarching business and digital objectives
  • Manage and liaise with the members in your squad to ensure prioritized work is achieved within relevant timeframes. Ensure Digital Director is kept up to date on delivery timeframes and problems affecting delivery of work
  • Accountability for reporting, metrics & KPI’s that are relevant to the work contained within the squad

Who we’re looking for..

You are a self-starter with exceptional stakeholder management capability and the ability to collaborate at a senior level, being agile and capable of performing in ambiguous environments. You’ve had a career within the digital technical environment and have fulfilled a Product Owner position for at least 3 years. Some required experience and knowledge would include:

  • Strong understanding and knowledge of the ecommerce landscape, ecommerce solutions, website infrastructure, CRM Infrastructure and user experience, consumer loyalty and user experience design with an understanding of how to drive customer engagement and deepen customer experiences
  • Strong project management and ability to juggle multiple competing priorities
  • Strong Agile experience and scrum experience
  • Strong Commercial Acumen including ability to interpret complex data into actionable insights
  • Strong and proficient at generating high quality documentation including user stories, use cases, flow diagrams, and wire-frames

This role is a permanent position operating in a full-time capacity and will be based at our Head Office in Burwood East
