The growing demand to deliver major transport infrastructure projects across Australia has resulted in a need for planning and technical leadership to work alongside our clients to define future infrastructure needs and investigate the why, when and how of delivering such infrastructure in creative and sustainable ways. Our team in Brisbane has a new opportunity for an experienced Technical Director - Integrated Transport Planning. Sitting within the Integrated Transport Planning team this person is responsible for assisting the leadership of a team of 15+ professional planners, modellers and engineers providing engineering direction and planning management for a variety of projects.

You will be involved in a range of projects with the opportunity to work across strategic transport planning, transport modelling and traffic engineering and be involved in/ lead multi-disciplinary projects. We will encourage and support you in using your client facing skills to raise the team's profile.

This is an excellent opportunity to expand your existing skills and develop your career. Motivated to achieve great transport outcomes for our clients, you will preferably be degree qualified with an appetite to solve complex problems using appropriate combinations of technological, behavioural change and physical solutions.

Skills, qualifications and experience:

• Tertiary qualified in urban, regional or town planning, civil engineering or a related discipline with minimum 20 years' experience in transportation related projects
• Post graduate qualifications in planning, traffic engineering or project or business management will be considered favourably
• Experience in leading planning teams for high growth and high performance would be advantageous
• Strong knowledge of public sector planning and infrastructure delivery models and private sector business models
