The Role

GHD Woodhead has an exciting opportunity for a Project Architect - Defence to join our studio in either Canberra or Brisbane. You will be part of a dynamic design team with a vision to grow our established Defence architectural reputation working on local, national and international projects.

Could this be you?

To be successful you are a registered architect with approximately 5-10 years' experience working on projects within the Defence and/or Security sectors. Experience across a range of portfolios is an advantage.

Qualifications and Experience

• A proven track record of delivering multidisciplinary designs, both on time and within budget
• Strong client and stakeholder engagement skills and proven ability to successfully manage clients
• Strong communication skills and team leadership capability
• Proven design skills partnered with a sense of the pragmatic
• Experienced in the use of AutoCAD, REVIT and Sketch-up
• Specific expertise and experience in Defence and/or Security, in addition to a range of project experience across a number of other portfolios
• Strong technical ability and experience in working in a managing contractor / design and construct environment
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and a "go-getter" attitude.
