Working in a space in which its atmosphere is synonymous with its north eastern city fringe location, this small firm is looking for a fully autonomous Project Architect.
With at least eight years of experience behind you and a full knowledge of local building codes (Res codes, NCC, BCA) your portfolio will show that you have managed projects from concept to completion and you will have created your own construction documentation packages which are detailed.
Managing projects in the residential space, projects will vary from $3m to medium density projects with budgets around $10m. The ideal candidate will have run projects with similar budgets and will have the confidence and competence to liaise with contractors at all stages of design and the ability to meet clients directly.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Architecture or equivalent
- 8-10 years’ experience minimum, Registered Architect or close to.
- Project Management experience – you will have run your own projects from concept to completion.
- Experience meeting directly with clients and liaising with contractors
- Knowledge of local building codes – Res Codes, NCC, BCA and Australian Standards
- Competence in creating full documentation packages including construction documentation
Soon to transition into BIM Software, this role will ensure you will upskill and have the opportunity to potentially learn new programmes.
