Could your talent serve a greater purpose? If you’re up for the challenge, your work will help connect people to the uni course that could help them start great careers or turn around existing ones.

As a Designer, you’ll be helping us bring to life stories about Swinburne’s courses, people and achievements. You’re also be turning complex product information into visually striking pieces of communication. All this will happen in collaboration with our writers, videographers, photographers and other designers.

It goes without saying that you
• Are adept across all media. In your portfolio, you have stellar examples of design for print, web, mobile, video and beyond. Show us examples of ads, flyers, publications, installations and anything else that demonstrates your versatility.
• Have several years’ experience as an art director or designer in a medium to large ad agency or design studio.
• Have completed a degree in design, communication design, advertising or similar.
• Don’t just ‘create the work’. You’re also great at explaining your work engagingly, distilling feedback and responding with an even better solution.
• Understand and can manage production workflows, including organising quotes and schedules from external suppliers. You’re also able to create your own finished art and supply it in the correct format.
• Were practically born with Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Microsoft Office skills.
• Manage multiple projects, deadlines and stakeholders without breaking (too much of) a sweat.
