Position Summary:
 
Technology has established a team focussing on the User Experience competency in response to the rising demand from our users to have a user-centred approach when deploying solutions. We need support in fulfilling this demand to ensure we realise our objectives, which is to focus on the needs of our workforce, so we can then transform the way we deliver solutions.  A new Experience Design (XD) strategy has been developed and will be implemented to support Human Centred Design delivery across Technology.
A key focus area of the XD strategy is to stand up a new offering, Service Design which will map the experience of our workforce’s people, process and technology.  This will be proactive within the business, notably the assets, as well as through the delivery of Technology projects.  Service Design will then be utilised to overlay a technical lens to ensure return on investment, higher end user satisfaction, productivity gains and greater safety of our workforce.

Mandatory Skills:
•    Experienced UX Researcher with at least 5+ years practical research experience 
•    Experienced Service Design with at least 5+ years practical experience with the design and implementation of Service Design into an enterprise environment.
•    Experience in developing/amending templates for reuse adapting to the unique needs of the project
•    Highly competent with graphic design
•    Deep knowledge of UX best practices and trending practices
•    Business analysis skills to understand and translate business requirements into Technology solutions
•    Excellent written and oral communication skills (expected to liaise with business stakeholders and internal delivery teams)
•    Excellent stakeholder management 
•    Experience working within a multi-national organisation
•    Must be based onsite at Location in Brisbane     
Roles & Responsibilities:    

•    Design, Development and implementation of Service Design including methodology, templates, tools and deliverable artefacts such as Service Blueprints, Personas, Journey Maps, Findings reports and recommendations, benefits metrics
•    Work with the UX specialist to deliver a pilot project utilizing the designed and developed methodology, templates, tools and deliverables.
•    Executing User Research with actual users – remote and onsite and analyzing the findings to produce insights and recommendations

Outside of Service Design
•    Hands on delivery of UX activities for projects within Technology
•    Assist with other UX initiatives and activities as required
•    Provide coaching and mentoring to staff as required
