Your new company
Our client is a well respected / high profile Architectural and Interior Design practice based in Melbourne’s CBD. With operations across Australia and in Europe, this practice has been responsible for prestigious Architectural projects both locally and internationally. Due to an increase in work across the board and in particular within the multi residential sector, our client now seek an experienced Interior Designer to join their Melbourne studio on a permanent basis.
Your new role
This position will see you involved in all stages of a project lifecycle, from initial concept design through design development, documentation and contract administration. The ideal candidate will be a confident all rounder that ideally is design led and able to contribute to documentation. Our client is renowned for working on large scale and complex projects in a range of different sectors, however Multi Unit Residential, Retail, Hospitality, and Mixed Use project experience is essential in this instance.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years experience, have good attention to detail, be able to work in a collaborative environment and have strong construction knowledge. Working within large scale Retail, Hospitality and Mixed Use projects you’ll ideally have experience within these sectors. The ideal candidate will possess 3 to 6 year' experience and have good knowledge of AutoCAD and / or Revit.
