We are a a great, stylish, on trend, upmarket Australian owned men's fashion brand that encompasses suiting, formal and business wear as well as stylish casual wear.

This is a great opportunity to be hands on and be a truly creative designer and work with a passionate team that really cares about what they do.
We are looking for someone who is;
- You're passionate about fabrics, prints and colours and the impact they have on the eye
- Know your customer and how to impress them
- Knowledgeable about fabric and you sourcing skills are excellent and you know how to cut a pattern or fit a garment to achieve your desired result.
- Understands current retail / wholesale challenges and know how to deliver amazing collections to the upmarket men's fashion scene.
- Experienced in creating tech packs and dealing with offshore factories to co-ordinate sample ranges.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and develop seasonal collections including ensuring range planning meets deadlines, budgets & vision.
- Ensure each collection is on-trend and in-line with our customer profile.
- Work with garment techs and offshore factories to produce sample ranges.
- Organise and conduct meetings with the department managers on a regular basis to ensure design is on track and delivering company objectives.
- Lead and provide support to Marketing to ensure all photoshoots and branding communication is brand correct and delivers our brand message including Digital Marketing initiatives.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 3-5 years extensive men's wear design experience
- You will need to have extensive experience with Chinese/Asian suppliers and particularly fabric and manufacturing sources including knitwear.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication, construction and production.
- Sound knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite - Indesign, Photoshop, Acrobat, Illustrator
- Excellent organizational, time management and verbal/written communication skills.
