Fender Katsalidis is currently looking for an experienced Project Architect to join our established team in Melbourne.
This role has been newly created to service a range of recently commissioned projects.
FK’s Project Architects perform senior roles on projects and are generally regarded as being on a pathway to leadership positions within the practice. They work closely with our Directors and Principals and have direct involvement throughout the design and delivery stages.
To be effective in the role, a practitioner must be competent and experienced in the following areas of responsibility:
- Communication and negotiation with project clients and consultants;
- Leading of project teams and mentoring of team members;
- The application and coordination of consultant services inputs; and
- The production of design development and/or construction documentation packages and working drawings to satisfy project timelines.
Applicants should demonstrate their ability to deliver high quality design and documentation of large-scale projects through a compelling portfolio of work. Skill in the use of ArchiCAD will be highly regarded.
