You will be working closely with the all areas of the business including our product, operations and development teams to drive the UX vision across OFX’s products and solutions. As an advocator for user centred design, you will conduct research and derive insights to enable decisions and conceptualisations that will inform innovative solutions at OFX. We want to deliver products that our global customers love – and we need your help!

As a part of the UX team, you will bridge our technical and business teams to have a strategic and hands-on perspective. Your stellar stakeholder management and communication skills with be key to providing recommendations based on research for best design practices. 

What you’ll do:

  • You will drive the user experience strategy and concepting for OFX’s digital products and services, helping to define the vision, user research, interaction design and usability testing to create world-class experiences for our global customers
  • You will design to enable compelling end-to-end experiences that deliver measurable improvements, (e.g. digital services, communications, business process)
  • You are comfortable facilitating workshops, conducting interviews & using a variety of research techniques
  • Present your findings and designs through persuasive stories using personas, scenarios and journey maps as well as the creation of new hypothesis
  • You'll validate and shape your design ideas through user testing
  • Contribute to our global design language and to the uplift of the UX design practice

What you’ll bring:

  • Ideally 5+ years of experience in end to end delivery across User Experience/Human Centred Design
  • Experience in end to end design and delivery of customer-facing and transactional digital experiences
  • Experience in leading customer centred design and strategy activities including customer research, problem solving, journey mapping, ideation, protoyping and testing solutions 
  • Deep understanding of User Centred Design and User research best practices; discovery techniques and the ability to turn insights into user requirements and wireframing
  • Engaging presentation style, strong communication and influencing skills
  • Naturally curious, strong emotional intelligence and ability to lead with empathy
  • Qualification in Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Design, Behavioural Science, Industrial Design or User Experience Research and Design is preferred
