Statutory Planner job with Melbourne astern uburbs council working on varied applications, $45 per hour
Your new company
Eastern councils are currently experiencing high volumes of applications due to the changes to zoning. This council is no exception. They require some contracted assistance to help get the application numbers under control.
Your new role
You will be working with a great team, providing expert assistance to existing and new applications as they continue to come through. You will be undertaking a wide range of these including standard rescode, mixed use development, multi unit, increased density permit applications.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified town planner with experience in processing or compiling planning applications, with the ability to step in and start processing straight away. Your ability to jump straight in with minimal supervision and guidance will ultimately be your success factor
What you'll get in return
You will earn circa $45 per hour and a contract that will likely be extended if you perform in the role as well as the potential to progress to a permanent planning job. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to develop your career, working with some of the leading planners in the country.
