Assistant Designer - Fashion 

The role:

• Research creative ideas and provide design input into collections
• Assist in the formulation of technical packs and specs
• Hand drawings and technical drawings 
• Print manipulation and presentations for capsule collections
• Specifying and researching raw materials
• Any task related to the development and production of the samples ranges for press and sales
• Ensuring samples are quality controlled and dispatched in seasonal ranges
• General design room tasks
• Source fabric, trim & accessory required for new development according to designers instructions
• Create mood boards for designers
• Updating Design sheets 
• Communicate styling changes to factory and keep Tech pack up to date during development process
• Liaise with  production

To be successful you will have:

• A degree from a respected Australian or international institution and have achieved outstanding results in both course work and in external competitions
• Creative flair
• Excellent Excel and Adobe Suite skills ( Photoshop, Illustrator and cad drawing's)
• 1-2 years experience
• Passion for accessories
• Driven and able to multi-task
• Great communication skills
