The Company: 
  
Our client have built themselves a reputation for quality, delivering beautifully designed homes in Melbourne’s growth corridors - predominantly across the Northern & Western suburbs, including as far as Geelong and greater regional Victoria. Due to their recent growth and success company-wide they are now in a position to provide a platform to bring on a results-driven Production Draftsperson to their growing team.
  
Your New Role:

• Preparation of contract plans and construction plans from scratch as directed for a range of products
• Create detailed designs with computer-aided design (AutoCAD) software
• Liaising with all internal departments as required
• Identify potential operational issues and re-design products to improve functionality

What you'll need to succeed:

• Demonstrated experience in a Drafting role, preferably with project homes, custom builds or master drawing sets
• Construction knowledge including but not limited to; Victorian residential building codes and guidelines
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
• Exceptional experience & proficiency using AutoCAD is essential
• Organisational skills with a strong ability to multi-task across a variety of activity
• Diploma of Building design or equivalent tertiary qualification
