A non-profit organization is seeking a Senior Urban Designer to join their Melbourne office. You will be delivering various projects of state significance across Victoria, to help with our growing population! This is a rare opportunity to be involved with an agency to work on culturally shaping projects across the state.
Key responsibilities
- Demonstrate a hands-on architecture and urban design approach through strategic thinking and design direction
- Lead, co-ordinate and deliver urban design solutions as well as manage Victoria’s major precinct renewal projects and housing portfolio
- Display a broad spectrum of skills to deliver outstanding design solutions to support the studio’s core objective to create spaces and homes a sustainable and desirable place to live
Skills & experience
- Bachelor or Master’s in Urban Design
- Professional experience working in the public or private sector as a Senior Designer, leading major master plans
- Solid background in large scale, urban renewal, townhouse developments and mixed-use projects
- Strong technical capabilities in various, appropriate software
