Working with Elton Group, you'll find a small team environment that thrives on innovation and design.
As a member of the team, you will work closely with our in-house Architect and support our industry leading interior architectural products through marketing programs, advertising campaigns (both social and print media), colour selections and the production of marketing collateral including technical specifications.
Our company has been operating successfully for over 40 years and we have established ourselves as a quality supplier of environmentally friendly interior architectural products throughout Australia and overseas specialising in Acoustics, Timber Veneers, Plywood and other panel products.
Reporting directly to the Marketing Director you will be required to: -
• Contribute to visual and written communications - all products
• Identify and research new products, markets and opportunities
• Prepare product presentations to industry specifiers & events for Elton Group
• Product catalogue sorting and quality control
• Meet with specifiers and trade customers Nationally to show new products
• Meet with Suppliers overseas from time to time as well as search for new products
• Attend specific industry social events and fairs
• Build long term relationships and grow the existing business
The ideal candidate will be experienced in this type of role and will require: -
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A passion and enthusiasm for design with a background in architecture/design
• Self-motivation with a positive and friendly attitude
• Good organisational skills
• Driver’s License and Car
The role will predominantly be in our Springvale office however some interstate and overseas travel may be required from time to time. You will be calling on Australia’s best Architects, Designers, Builders and Cabinet Makers to discuss our company’s products and we are looking for an individual that can bring their existing relationships with these types of companies and continue to forge strong relationships within this client base. Product training will be provided however some experience in Acoustic & Panel products would be beneficial.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to work autonomously, be well presented, have interpersonal and communication skills and the ability and desire to develop new business from your own prospecting.
