Are you an AutoCAD whiz who wants to work on unique, challenging and interesting projects?

• Full-time hours until the end of October
WHAT WE’RE AFTER
We are looking for a Casual CAD/CAM Draftsperson who can interpret and draft the drawing requirements of our clients and construction team. This position is responsible for producing 2D and 3D drawings for event props, exhibition stands, staging, and all other event elements. This role also entails producing CAM files for our in-house CNC machine.
You will be responsible for our in-house CAD department whilst our CAD/CAM Design Manager is on leave from Friday 3 August - Friday 17 August and then Monday 17 September to Friday 19 October.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Experience in AutoCAD (2D, 3D) programming (3+ years)
- Experience in CAM software (advantageous)
- Experience in Illustrator (advantageous)
- A flexible attitude
- Attention to detail
- Ability to communicate with staff from the shop floor as well as clients
- Knowledge of machining principles and woodworking practises (advantageous)
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
