Junior Designer /Development Assistant
The successful applicant will have a fashion design background with a natural affinity with style trends, colour, fabrics, and trims.
This is an exciting opportunity for a junior designer who is looking for commitment within a well-established and highly successful global brand.
Responsibilities

Assist in the development of on-time seasonal collections.

Assist in research and collation of relevant trend & market research.

Creation of mood boards.

Assistant to the Creative Director translating styles through illustrations and working drawings.

Provide all design illustrations for the design assistant to prepare CAD drawings.

Trim sourcing and development under direction from the Creative Director.

Assist with sample fitting when required.

Liaise with key team members in design and production and communicate all design updates or changes.

Develop seasonal design sheets and update with all relevant design information.

Design working drawings.

Communicate the handover of all style details to pattern-makers and product developer locally with complete style details and swatches and choice of toile fabric.

Prepare seasonal range boards , spec sheets, tech packs
