Ongoing, full-time position based in East Melbourne

ABOUT THE POSITION
Suitably qualified applicants are invited to apply for the position of Officer Capital Programs, located at the East Melbourne office. This position reports to the Manager, Infrastructure and Capital Funding.

The objectives of the role are to assist in the development and delivery of school infrastructure policy/ guideline development including school master planning, maintenance plans, asset management plans and infrastructure compliance for schools within the Archdiocese of Melbourne.

In addition there is a requirement to implement an audit regime and reporting structure to improve building compliance, monitor life cycle costings and extend the functional life of school buildings and to assist individual schools to review and plan their infrastructure requirements to meet future needs.

The salary range for this position is $98,190 to $115,015 p.a., commensurate with the relevant skills and experience and subject to superannuation contribution in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee Legislation in addition to this salary payment. Salary packaging arrangements are also available to staff of Catholic Education Melbourne.  Professional working hours and annual leave of four weeks apply to this position. 

TO BE SUCCESSFUL
The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience within infrastructure management such as engineering, and architecture or strategic management functions with high level reporting and project management skills.

Demonstrated experience in the delivery of infrastructure programs, compliance and asset management policy development.

Well-developed written and oral communication skills with the ability to prepare and present tenders, briefings and policy documents to the relevant audience and possess the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

A tertiary qualification relevant to school infrastructure, project management or asset management as well as current driver’s licence is required.

The successful applicant will be subject to a Working with Children Check and a National Police Record Check.
