Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
You will receive a wide variety of Residential and Commercial projects including New Homes, Home Additions, Extensions and Renovations, Unit Developments, Townhouses, Patios, Gazebos, Warehouses, Offices, and Retail. You will have full autonomy completing projects from start to finish.
What's Involved:
• Attend site meetings with clients for consultation and design
• Measure ups for new and existing client projects
• Provide sketches and preliminary designs
• Answer design related queries and liaise with clients when required
• Work from home / office on your own pc and software
• Take ownership of a project from start to finish
• Be able to do projects in and around the CBD and surrounding suburbs
Skills and experience
We are currently looking for experienced Architects and Building Designers with a minimum 5 years practical local experience. You are a sole trader, or looking to start your own design practice or may even want to supplement your current income. You MUST be experienced and competent in all areas of Architectural design, drafting, client liaison, local codes, BCA and experienced with either AutoCad, Revit or ArchiCad. You have excellent communication skills and enjoy engaging with your clients, are self-sufficient, reliable and thrive on the challenge of design through to delivery.
Salary:
Expect to earn $100k plus per annum
