Cera Stribley Architect (CS-A) is an emerging architectural and interior design office based in Melbourne. The practice was founded 4 years ago and has quickly grown to a team of 25 dedicated personal. The office is dedicated to designing great buildings and interiors, but also providing an inviting, social and engaging office environment. Just recently, CS-A has been shortlisted in the top ten emerging practices of Australia in Architecture Media’s Houses Awards and were published in Bespoke Careers - The Culture of Practice, a book that celebrated the studio culture of 100 architectural practices across the globe.

With this type of growth, we recognize the importance in practice management. We are looking for a talented and experienced candidate to help grow our business, improve our current management systems and help allow our practice to maintain its fun and enjoyable studio life. 

Critical Roles may be, but not limited to,

  • Maintain and Monitor Practice management software  (Total Synergy)
  • Produce Overall, Sector-by-Sector & Project-by-Project WIP reports.
  • Synergising Forecasting with Practice Management Software
  • Assisting in general office standards and systems to improve efficiencies
  • Monthly Reporting
  • Identifying other key reports
  • Identify project losses at an early stage of the project.
  • Identify weaknesses and opportunities for working efficiencies.
  • Invoicing
  • Payroll and Superannuation
  • Ensuring invoices are paid on time, chasing outstanding debtors.
  • Liaising with external Bookkeeper and Accountant to ensure all taxing requirements are met. Experience with Xero will be beneficial
  • General Office Management tasks

The successful candidate will report directly to the studio’s Managing Principals.

To apply, candidates must have at least two of the following, however three would be preferred;

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a degree associated with Commerce (or similar)
  • Office Management Experience
  • Architectural Practice Experience
  • Knowledge of Office Management Software - Total Synergy
  • Knowledge of Accounting Software – Xero
