Your Company
Your company is one of Melbourne’s emerging Interior Design practices. They specialise in Commercial, Healthcare, Multi-Res, Hospitality, Aged-Care Projects.
You’ll be part of a friendly, sociable and inclusive team, based in a great contemporary studio in one of Melbourne’s Inner Suburbs, close to shops, cafes and bars and easy to get to via all forms of transport.
Your Role
If you are reading this you have 6+ years experience in Commercial Interior Design or Architecture. You have a passion and a proven talent for specifying and procuring great FF&E.
You will work directly with the Company owner and Senior Interior Team to produce FF&E of real quality and help ensure the design ethos is maintained through to realisation. You will lead the FF&E team and grow the FF&E arm of the business through business development.
You will be actively encouraged and supported to grow and develop your role, and to share your knowledge with the studio.
Do you have the essential skills and experience for this Role?
- 6+ years experience of specification and procurement of commercial FF&E in Melbourne
- Great understanding of Interior Design and the ability to review drawings
- Passionate about Fabric and Furniture
- Great understanding of commercial Project scheduling, coordination, and management
- Experienced in, and enjoy, meeting and coordinating with clients and suppliers
- Work alongside the design team to develop and win new Business and Clients
- Proficient in Producing schedules in Microsoft Excel
- Good Construction/technical knowledge
- BCA and Australian Standards working knowledge
- Great communicator - written and verbal
- Have a collaborative, proactive, approachable and sociable personality
