The Role
Our faced-paced peri-urban council is continuing to grow and an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Strategic Planner to join our Planning and Development team, who are moving in a dynamic, ambitious direction.
You will develop and implement policies, strategies, plans and projects to ensure the future sustainable growth and development of the Baw Baw Shire Council, in line with State Government and Council objectives, while leading and developing a small team, to achieve outstanding results. It is crucial that you display high level communication skills, capable of informing, consulting and reconciling the diverse views of the community on strategic planning matters.
The successful applicant will be a positive, dynamic leader, who holds relevant qualifications and has demonstrated abilities to think and act strategically as well as lead and develop a talented team.
