An exciting opportunity has become available in Corporate HQ Sydney for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to take on the role of Graphic Designer for Entertainment, reporting to the Creative Manager.
Event Cinemas is part of the EVT group, Australia's premier Entertainment, Leisure & Hospitality Company operating brands such as Event Cinemas, Greater Union, Birch Carroll & Coyle, Moonlight Cinemas, Rydges Hotels & Resorts, QT Hotels & Resorts & Atura Hotels.
About the Role
The Customer Experience Creative team is responsible for all Entertainment campaigns (print and BAU digital).
The Graphic Designer will be a Junior to Mid-Weight role and will be responsible for the following:
- Providing ongoing support for Australia and New Zealand Entertainment Brands
- Ensure branding guidelines are maintained across all touch points
- Effectively turning creative concepts into reality - bringing to life breakthrough ideas
- Developing creative work that is compelling, on brand, on strategy and meets the expectations of stakeholders in driving brand awareness and call to action
- Creative thinking and design that provides stakeholders with fresh and variable options that efficiently meet business objectives
- Delivering work to agency standards across all channels (print and digital)
- Inspire creativity, efficiency and innovation and continued improvement
- Building relationships with stakeholders and suppliers
About You
We're looking for an experienced and highly driven person to join the team. To be considered for this role you'll need to have relevant tertiary qualification, as well as 1-2 years professional experience working as a Graphic Designer, you'll also need to display:
- Excellent design skills and an eye for detail
- Exceptional communication experience across traditional, digital and emerging media channels
- Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite - InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator a must
- Knowledge of creative production, web and digital tools such as PowerPoint, Word, HTML
- Good understanding of prepress/print production
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work under pressure when needed
- Passionate about delivering quality creative work
- Ability to take a brief from concept to finished artwork
- Great team player, but also able to work autonomously with a positive and can-do attitude
