The company:
We are a design focused architectural practice, based in Carlton North, with a focus commercial, multi-residential developments and light Industrial projects. We are passionate about architecture, and have built a reputation for excellence in design and documentation.
The role:
We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic and pleasant individual, who is willing to work in a team environment. The successful applicant would be involved in all phases of the architectural process from concept design, documentation and through to contract administration. Must have the ability to co-ordinate and liaise with consultants, authorities and builders. Architects should have a minimum of three years post graduate experience.
Remuneration is negotiable based on experience and skills

Skills & experience:
• Degree qualification in Architecture.
• Proficient CAD operator (Microstation/Autocad/Archicad), and experience with 3D packages (sketch-up) would be an advantage.
• Able to work with little supervision and autonomously.
• Design ability with a creative flair.
• Ability to problem solve by investigating and researching appropriate solutions.
• Ability to co-ordinate and liaise with builders, consultants and authorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work across all stages of a project from concept design, design development, town planning and construction documentation.
• Understanding of residential construction methods and detailing.
• Experience and knowledge of Town Planning processes and codes (ResCode knowledge important)
