The opportunity

Partnered with our client, we are searching for a motivated individual looking to further their career in administration. This is a fantastic opportunity to obtain on the job experience whilst completing a Certificate III in Business Administration over 12 months’ duration. You will develop your skills and experience in administration while working for this national construction company based in Gerringong. You will be well supported with training and mentoring throughout your employment and also have the potential for a long-term career opportunity.

Your role will see you assisting in the day to day running of a construction site office, your primary duties will include:

  • General office administration support
  • Data entry
  • Scanning and paperwork
  • Organising meetings
  • Entering time sheets
  • Invoice processing
  • Liaising with suppliers, sub-contractors, and engineers

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for mature and outgoing applicants who are interested in the construction industry and committed to completing a formal qualification in Business Administration You will have the ability to multi-task, adapt to changing work volumes and be willing to learn and follow instructions. This role will require you to interact with multiple people within the business as well as external contractors, so a confident and helpful personality is a must.

You will have:

  • Completed a minimum of Year 12 schooling including a solid performance in Mathematics;
  • Reliable transport to and from work on a full-time basis;
  • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Well-developed organisational skills; and
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
