About the Role:

Our team are currently seeking a Claims Assistant to work from our Balcatta office.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support throughout a claim's life-cycle. You will also deliver the upmost assistance to our internal business, whilst providing exceptional service to our external clients.

In this role, you will:

  • Adhere to contractual requirements and Service Level Agreements
  • Maintain customer expectations, by ensuring that clear communication is delivered throughout their claim
  • Manage individual customer enquiries, and work to ensure an appropriate outcome is achieved
  • Provide repair status updates to clients and customers
  • Identify customer needs through effective questioning and active listening skills
  • Maintain and update customer information into AJ Grant's claims database system, both comprehensively and accurately
  • Coordinate onsite staff appointments as required

We Require from You:

  • Previous administration and office support experience is essential
  • Excellent communication and customer-service skills
  • Outstanding time-management capabilities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-pressured environment
  • Intermediate computer skills across Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Insurance industry experience is desirable, however not essential
