We are an established Accounting and Financial Planning firm in the Malaga area. We seek a bright and motivated person to join our friendly team part-time as receptionist and administration assistant in a varied and challenging role. No two days will be the same and an ability to effectively multitask will be paramount.
The position requires you to be organised, accurate, flexible, logical, timely and able to multi-task. You need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be computer literate and have a good knowledge of Word and Excel. In addition to the main front office duties, your duties will include:
- Scanning, photocopying and filing
- Collation of financial reports and income tax returns
- Dealing with suppliers, stationery orders, etc
- Maintaining staff training
- Electronic Lodgement with ATO
- Banking, EFTPOS and debtor management
- Following up client queries, further information, and signed documents
- ASIC compliance
- ABN, TFN and Business Name Applications
- Collate and format our regular newsletters
- ATO Portal
You must have:
- Excellent written and verbal communication and phone manner
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven record of experience in an administrative role, preferably in accounting or financial services
- Excellent PC and Microsoft Office skills. Handisoft suite experience is advantageous
- Be highly organised with an ability to prioritise and multi-task
- Work with accuracy and attention to detail
- Professional personal presentation
- Work unsupervised or with minimal direction in a team environment
- Common sense approach to tasks recognising the importance of both process and the outcome required
- Willingness to learn, show initiative and be a proactive team player
- Excellent time management skills
- Positive attitude
