Description

The Business Support Officer will provide advice to line Managers in regarding to process, tracking, and reporting during the on-boarding process. You will have well-developed communication skills, including the ability to communicate in a confidential and sensitive manner and excellent strong stakeholder management skills. You will be responsible for tracking incoming staff after recruitment or hiring process and responding to queries from line Managers. You will have sound judgement and the ability to handle time-critical tasks.

Responsibilities may include but limited to:

  • Use of Microsoft word to transfer participant information into a new participant plan template
  • Ability to see and resolve spelling errors or incorrect grammar
  • Quickly copy information between two documents and ensure formatting is correct
  • Create PDF documents from word documents
  • Store information securely and with accurate naming conventions
  • Work with other team members to ensure work is being completed
  • Ability to be follow a checklist to ensure that information is accurate and complete

Systems:

  • Ability to analyse, and produce a range of statistics and reports using MS Excel
  • Intermediate skills with MS Excel and/or Access.

Communication:

  • Competency with IT systems Skill Testing Required
  • Adaptable communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in building relationships both with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work within the team and adapt quickly to a changing environment.
  • Ability to respond to and prioritise competing and often urgent requests in a calm and efficient manner while also maintaining high work standards and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
  • Ability to synthesise and analyse information and make decisions.
